Abilities, knowledge, experiences:
I worked 4 years in the softwar eprocess research department at DaimlerChrysler in Ulm. For about 3 1/2 years I was then working for Atronic Austria GmbH, where I've been responsible for auditing and improving all development processes.
Since July 2007 I'm working as a Quality Manager CMMi for AVL List GmbH, a global supplier for engine test beds.
I'm experienced in the implementation, improvement, teaching, and coaching of CMMi compliant processes, both for certification, but also to simply improve efficiency and effectivity.
As a developer I prefer C/C++ and Java in the application area, while I like to use PHP, MySQL, Smarty and Javascript (Ajax and JSON as well) for the development of web-based systems. For database development I'm very experienced with the use of stored procedures, both in MySQL 5 and MS SQL Server 2000. I also worked with the Servlet API, Oracle and Hibernate, as well as Groove, Quartz, and the Apache Common Libraries.
Besides the automotive and gaming areas I worked for so far, I'd be very interested in working in the banking/credit as well as the audio software areas.
