The Winter-EDV-Service has an online shop to sell hardware specifically for teaching and research at www.uni-rabatt.de. This shop had to be redesigned. The following tasks were done by carolus-it:

Description:
The typical services needed by a small business unit (DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMTP, LDAP, SAMBA) have been virtualized via VMware and then those appliances were installed to a dedicated server installiert to lower costs and improve stability.
The following tasks were done by carolus-it:
• Desing and implementation of a backup solution
• Installation of a VMware server
• Migration of an existing server using the VMware Converter
• Implementation of several VMware-Appliances
