Project: Wireless network service benchmark Europe
Time frame: 2005-2007
Description: In-depth comparison of 27 European public mobile networks with regards to speech quality, data connection quality and many other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Project tasks included recruiting and coaching a team of six engineers and several assistants, management of software development (measurement tools and web portal), logistics, analysis of data and presentation, as well as regular contact with the customer.
Tools used were mainly Excel, SQL databases, Linux Shell Script, Visual Basic, Wireshark, ROMES and Powerpoint.
After successful closure of this project, I was able to secure the follow-up contract of a size of EUR 1m.

Project: Handset Quality Assurance
Time frame: 2003-2005
Description: GCF test of new mobile devices from wel known brands of device manufacturers. Testing took place throughout Europe for the certification of all services like voice, SMS, MMS, WAP. Testdirector was used for test management.
Part of the project was at least weekly contact with the customer.

Other significant tasks without direct relationship to a project during projects for P3 Solutions (2003-2007):
- Formulated quotations and responded to tenders from existing
key customers and potential customers as direct assistant to
board of directors
- Presented project results to customer's decision makers,
triggered network improvements and marketing activities
- Designed processes and implemented in-depth project quality
assurance measures later to be used for P3 Solutions' first
quality certification (ISO 9001)
- Consolidated two network benchmark teams to one and improved
effectiveness and efficiency of network service test division
- Recruited and coached a project team of six engineers and
several assistants
